Package includes a flat notched wooden handle and a nylon string. To use the bow, a knot must be tied in each end of the string. Place one end ofthe string in the notch at one end of the bow, then bend the bow slightly and slip the free end of the string through the notch at the other end. It is not necessary to bend the bow too much in order to achieve proper string tension. Naturally, the exact curvature will vary with each bow and according to your own preference, but in general the string is sufficiently taut if it vibrates slightly when plucked. NOTE: You should always unstring the bow when it is not in use to preserve its flexibility.
